Parent Orientation Nights
Parents are encouraged to attend one of the orientations prior to starting camp. This is also a great opportunity if you would like to learn more about camp before registering your child. All emergency forms, permission slips and parent handbook will be reviewed at these meetings. Meetings are at the Shiawassee Family YMCA.

This summer, camp will again be offered in one week themes. Each week offers a field trip on Wednesday and a cookout each Friday.
Campers will enjoy canoeing, archery, fishing, arts and crafts and the bb gun range. They will also have the chance to experience our 250 foot zip line, 40 foot climbing tower and the Black Hole at the beautiful 181 acre Camp Shiawassee. Our staff and our adventure course are fully certified each year by Experential Systems and licensed by the State of Michigan. We are the only state licensed camp in Shiawassee County.

Camp Shiawassee promotes safety each and every day while your children are having the time of their lives, creating memories and fulfilling summer dreams. Our Spring/Summer Guide will come out in April with additional information on the weekly themes and field trips.
