CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
BACK TO BASICS – Feel the need to get back in shape? Conquer your fitness goals by starting out at a beginner level. This non-impact class is designed to teach and keep movements simple but effective. Various exercise equipment will be used to give you the confidence, energy and strength to take it to the next level.

BOOT CAMP – A high energy timed interval class that incorporates different cardio segments with strength conditioning. A class designed to move your body. Abdominal work included.

BOSU/BALL FUSION – A fusion of cardio and toning. The Bosu is used to improve your cardiovascular level followed by core and strength training with the stability ball. A great combo to increase your fitness level.

BOSU or STEP – Choose your own kind of workout. The Bosu has a dome on one
side and a platform on the other. It will challenge your stability while improving your aerobic performance. The Reebok step can also be used. Both will provide a great and effective workout for all levels of fitness.

BUTT AND GUT – This class is designed to utilize a variety of exercises specific for these two areas.

CARDIO BUFFET – A great cardio class that mixes things up to keep you moving from cardio kick to basic low impact aerobics. The variety will keep you pumped. Abdominal work included.

CYCLE 101 – Using the Reebok Cycle, bike your way to fitness. All levels of fitness are encouraged to enjoy the ride and get fit while doing it. Weight training is included.

FIT YOGA – From beginner to advanced, this class will challenge your balance, posture and focus on your physical and well being while strengthening your body and mind.

GET ON THE BALL – Have a ball and get a great workout. The Stability Ball is used throughout the entire class. Engage in a short cardiovascular routine followed by weight bearing exercises performed on the ball. Don’t wait. Get on the Ball!
MUSCLE MANIA – Strength training is the main event. Your muscles will be challenged using a variety of weights. This class ranges from beginners to advanced levels. Abdominal work included.

PILATES – A low impact class that emphasizes core conditioning and strength training.  It utilizes a breathing technique that engages your core through-out the workout. Easy to follow movements will help you accomplish deep muscle conditioning and toning.  Appropriate for all fitness levels.

TAI CHI – An effective and safe exercise program to help promote good health, especially for those with joint and back pain. It is based on the gentle 12-movement Sun style of Tai Chi.  Increase your flexibility, heart/lung function and balance.

YOGA BOOTY BALLET – A dynamic fusion of yoga, booty sculpting and easy to follow dance movements that will make you feel strong and confident. This class is designed for all fitness levels.

Y’s BODY SHOP – This easy-to-follow class is a fun, low-impact cardio work-out to get your heart and body in condition.  Abdominal, toning and stretching are included.

Y’S TO EXERCISE – Chair or standing exercises that are structured for beginning level participants that are seeking to get back into shape.  This class will incorporate a combination of strength, balance, resistance, and pilates exercises. This class is designed for you and your fitness goals.            

ZUMBA – Put some salsa and spice back into your fitness routine. The Latin Dance moves will challenge your hips and abdominals while getting a great cardio workout.  The easy-to-follow moves are designed to motivate, energize and create a stronger leaner you.  Make it a Zumba day.
