IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THE 2025 CAMP SEASON:
  • Drop-off and pick-up will be at Emerson School (515 W. Oliver St., Owosso).
  • Early-Care (6:30am-8:00am) and Late-Care (4:30pm-6:00pm) is available for an additional fee. Extended care is provided by our licensed child care program, The Learning Zone.
  • 3-Day Camp is ONLY Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Camp dates are June 9-August 15. We will offer a three-day option (M-W) the week of July 4th.
  • Field Trips details will be released late spring. 
  • Lake Days will alternate between Campgrounds R Us and Sleepy Hollow.
  • Registration is due the Monday BEFORE the session begins.
  • Payment is due the Monday BEFORE the session begins. No more deposits.
  • The camp day is now 8:00am-4:30pm. 
  • Space is limited each week. 
  • 5-year-olds must have already attended Kindergarten or another full-day school program.

CAMP SHIAWASSEE AMAZON WISH LIST

​Camp Shiawassee has an Amazon Wish List that you can check out. It takes a lot of supplies to run camp and we would appreciate any help you are able to give. Please click here to visit our wish list.

Campers will enjoy aspects of the traditional camp experience that range from canoeing and archery to arts and crafts and gaga ball, while introducing academic enrichment opportunities to daily activities. They will also have the chance to slide through the mysterious Black Hole at our scenic 181-acre camp. Camp Shiawassee not only focuses on providing children the opportunities to be kids through healthy living and staying active, but also a safe place for youth to learn and develop their social emotional skills. At Camp Shiawassee we welcome all campers ages 5*-12 to join us for a fun filled summer that will have you wanting to come back year after year! The 2025 summer camp season will run the weeks of June 9 through August 15. There will be a 3-day camp the week of June 30-July 4. Breakfast and sack lunch are provided.
       *5-year olds attending camp should have previously attended a full-day school option such as Kindergarten.

2025 Camp Cost: 
$185 per session for Members ($125 for three days)
$210 per session for Non-Members ($140 for three days)
2025 LIT (Leaders-in-Training) Camp Cost: 
$60 for members, $85 for non-members (full week only) *not eligible for financial assistance

​**The YMCA does not send out program date/time reminders. Please write down the days/times of any programs you register for so you will remember to attend.
